Loch Ness Coffee Company Limited’s Social Media Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Loch Ness Coffee Company Limited, Company Number SC221691 whose registered office is at Birnam, East Lewiston, Drumnadrochit, Inverness, IV63 6UJ.


  1. Eligibility rules for competitions are as follows:


    1. the competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Loch Ness Coffee Company Limited and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition;
    2. where competitions are open to children (aged 15 or younger) and/or young persons (aged 16 or 17), the age requirements will be publicised to entrants;
    3. entrants aged under 18 shall have obtained the consent of a parent or a guardian and will provide the Promoter with parental contact details upon request;
    4. certain competitions may have additional eligibility requirements such as valid passports, visas, driving licences, good physical health etc. The Promoter will notify entrants of any additional eligibility requirements;
    5. whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met is always at the Promoter’s sole discretion and they may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes.


  1. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.


  1. By entering this completion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.


  1. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as specified via email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or another Social Network post as appropriate.


  1. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.


  1. The closing date for entries will be as specified via email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or another Social Network post as appropriate. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.


  1. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.


  1. The Promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Promoter’s website.


  1. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to an entrant by a third party connected with this competition.


  1. This prize is as advised via email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network post as appropriate.


The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are non-transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.


  1. Winners will be chosen either by:
    1. random software from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents; or
    2. where a competition requires entrants to submit a photograph and/or video clip to enter or participate, the Promoter will appoint an independent adjudicator or panel of judges.
  2. If a competition requires entrants to submit a photograph and/or video clip to enter or participate in a competition:
    1. entrants warrant that they are the person in the photograph or video and/or they have prior consent from all persons in the photograph or video to submit it as part of their entry;
    2. entrants agree that the Promoter has the right to publish and communicate to the public the photographs in any media without restriction or limitation throughout the world and not only for the purposes of the competition;
    3. entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may edit the photographs or video at their sole discretion;
    4. entrants agree that the Promoter has the right to use names, likenesses and other personal information submitted in conjunction with the photograph or video;
    5. entrants agree not to bring any actions, suits, claims and demands against the Promoter in respect of defamation or any infringement or violation of any personal and/or property rights of any sort from the Promoter’s use of their photograph or video; and
    6. entrants unconditionally waive their right to seek or obtain an interdict to prevent or restrict the Promoters use of photographs or video.


  1. The winner will be notified by email and or private message on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other Social Network as appropriate within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.


  1. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected or will be delivered (as appropriate).


  1. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with individual entrants.


  1. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party without the entrant’s prior consent.


  1. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing [email protected].


  1. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or in association with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.


  1. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
