Cobbs Cafés can be found all over Scotland – ranging from the most central and trendy Red Box locations in Edinburgh to the most Highland and scenic in Glenmore and Aviemore.

Although each café has its own individual charm, they all have one thing in common, they sell our fantastic Cobbs cakes (hand-made in our bakery).

Elgin

Elgin Library, Cooper Park

Situated within the wonderfully picturesque Cooper Park, Cobbs at Elgin Library offers warm daily specials alongside its wide range of Cobbs cakes, teas & fresh Brodie’s coffees. With a particular highlight being their soup of the day, this café is perfect place to relax after picking up a book or wondering round the park

Inverness

The Botanical Gardens

Cobbs at The Botanical Gardens offers a large selection of Cobbs home baking alongside warm daily specials, kids lunch boxes, soups and sandwiches. With exciting novelties such as hot filled cones and many varieties of ice cream it is the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing stroll or a fun day out with all the family. The café is situated right at the entrance to the gardens and offers free admissions to the outside areas and hot houses alongside a purchase. Once inside, the gardens boast a Koi carp pond, plants, trees and cacti from all over the world and many other features for all to enjoy.

The Archie Café, Eastgate

The Archie Café (Eastgate) is an extremely popular coffee shop with a difference. It is a Charity Cafe, with part of the proceeds going to The Archie Foundation - who are raising funds to support the Highland Children’s Unit at Raigmore Hospital. It is situated on the lower level of the Eastgate Centre (shopping hub of the Highlands!) and serves all of Cobbs favourites: home-baking, tasty deli sandwiches, a selection of soups, a range of kid’s lunch choices and many more! There is even an exciting children’s play area to keep the wee ones entertained whilst mum and dad enjoy a minute of peace in the large and comfortable seated area. So, make sure that you have time to relax during your shopping day, with the knowledge that you are contributing to a wonderful cause.

The Archie Café, Hilton

The Archie café (Hilton) is a wonderful coffee shop which makes a difference to the community. It is a Charity Café which donates part of its proceeds to The Archie Foundation - who are raising funds to support the Highland Children’s Unit at Raigmore Hospital. Situated in a local community centre, The Archie Café is a soft play facility and is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea and well-deserved rest while knowing that the kids are entertained. Even better, you can relax in the knowledge that you are contributing to a wonderful cause! There is also storytelling and information on child care and welfare available - make sure to telephone in advance to see what is on, and make a day of it!

Inverness Museum & Art Gallery

Combining a Cobbs café with a Museum and Art Gallery creates a fantastic day out for anyone local to or visiting Inverness. This quiet and cosy coffee shop serving home baking, hot soups and tasty sandwiches is the perfect spot for lunch or even just for a coffee break in the middle of your exploration of the charming collections and artefacts. Make sure to check out the shop for a souvenir of your visit! 

Highland Industrial Supplies

Cobbs at HIS boasts award winning bacon rolls, ‘mega’ breakfasts and hearty lunch time specials while maintaining a wide range of Cobbs home baking. Positioned within Highland Industrial Supplies, which serves the Highlands and Islands with all their needs in tools, machinery, building aids and ironmongery, it is the perfect place for tradesmen to receive a filling meal in amongst their busy schedule. The tasty food, friendly staff and handy location will make sure you want to return!

Loch Ness

The Clansman Hotel

This café is situated within The Loch Ness Clansman Hotel, uniquely perched on the hillside overlooking Loch Ness. This stunning location is why it is known as "the hotel with the view". Cobbs café is positioned at the far end of Loch Ness Gifts, a great shopping experience with very affordable prices and a cracking array of single malt whiskies. The café serves both prepared sandwiches and food made to order, heart-warming homemade soup, homemade pies and sausage rolls, and a range of local beers and soft drinks. This selection is not to be missed! As always at Cobbs, there is a delightful range of home baking, and a great take away service for those in a hurry to catch their coach or Jacobite boat trip on the Loch.

The Drumnadrochit Hotel, Drumnadrochit

Situated within the Drumnadrochit Hotel and directly beside The Loch Ness Monster Exhibition Centre – a must visit in this area - this café is surrounded by things to do. Cobbs fantastic range of home baking is enhanced by hot meals, soups, sandwiches and ice creams, making this the perfect stop no matter what you’re looking for. Local beers and a wide selection of malts are also available for those looking to make their visit to the highlands as authentic as possible! Whether you are part of a large group booking out the upstairs restaurant or just sightseeing solo, this is the perfect place for a day out. Make sure to book a boat trip at the reception and visit the Kiltmaker and Nessie Shop for one-off souvenirs to remember your visit! 

Aviemore

Grampian Road

Situated in the heart of the popular tourist resort of Aviemore, Cobbs is the ideal place to rest. Whether you are browsing the shops, heading to the train station or just making a quick stop on a long drive - relax on our soft leather chairs or sit outside and embrace the sun shine while enjoying our range of home-baked cakes, hot paninis, teas and coffees. Upstairs even includes a chalkboard and TV area to keep the little ones entertained so you can get that well-deserved break. Next door to Visit Scotland tourist information; you can't miss us!

Glenmore Forest Park

Sitting at the foot of the mountains, in the woods close to Loch Morlich, Cobbs café is part of the Interpretative and Information Centre for The Forestry Commission.  Whether you need to re-fuel after mountain biking, warm up after hiking or just want to find out what Cairngorm National Park has to offer then this is the perfect stop for you! Come and relax with some of our home baking, hot daily specials and warming mugs of tea and coffee. The food, fantastic surroundings and friendly staff will make sure you want to stop again!

Aberdeen

Sterling Furniture, Bridge Of Don

Close to the famous River Don in Aberdeen, and situated on the mezzanine level of Sterlings Home Store, this café is busy with locals and business people alike. The store has lots to offer; from gifts and soft furnshings, to kitchenware and designer furniture. Starting off or re-furnishing, a day at Sterling is a must - and all the better knowing you can have morning coffee, lunch, or afteroon tea without leaving the store! The full range of all Cobbs goodies and comfortable seating is on hand for you to take a time-out and mull over those important interior decisions.

Fort William

Nevisport, Airds Crossing

Under the shadow of Britain’s highest mountain - Ben Nevis - in 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK', is Cobbs at Nevisport. Upstairs, we have our café and restaurant selling the best Highland home baking, tasty soups and sandwiches which can even be enjoyed on our roof terrace during a sunny day! This is a great place to relax and ponder over the map to check out your next route, or to read the many mountaineering and outdoor books available in the shop. Later, after a hard day on the hill, chill out in Cobbs friendly lounge bar in front of our real fire where great pub grub is available at lunch time and in the evening and listen (quite often) to some good music! If you’re looking for some local knowledge, the bar is always frequented by friendly locals who all have a story to tell about "The Ben".

Pitlochry

Queens View

Queens View is one of Scotland’s most iconic viewpoints providing a fantastic photo opportunity over-looking Loch Tummel. This magnificent view is only made better with the presence of the Cobbs café which offers a slice of the highlands through its wide range of home baking and tasty sandwiches. Free parking is available for coaches and cars alike upon a purchase at the café meaning you can enjoy a scenic walk and a warming mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate for as long as you like. There is even a small stall selling local and Scottish crafts so you can find unique gifts and souvenirs to accompany your photos, what more could you want!?

Edinburgh

Red Box Marchmont, Spottiswoode Road

Red Box Marchmont offers a slightly different aesthetic to the Cobbs that you may be used to but still provides our wide range of home baked cakes, tasty sandwiches and warming soups! The décor embodies shabby chic ranging from its upcycled furniture to its retro coffee machine and providing the perfect setting for students and young professionals alike. Situated in the heart of the capital, Marchmont provides a fantastic location - within walking distance of both Princes Street and the Old Town – to stop for a quick bite or a lengthy lunch. The takeaway option means you can even enjoy your freshly brewed coffee within the beautiful surroundings of the Meadows which are situated close-by.

Martin & Frost, Fort Kinnaird

Cobbs at Fort Kinnaird offers a peaceful rest in the middle of your shopping experience. Be sure to pop in and enjoy a slice of the highlands with our wide range of Cobbs home baking, tasty sandwiches, warm soups and Red Box teas and coffees. Positioned within Martin & Frost, Cobbs is a great place to wind down after you’ve found that perfect piece of homeware or while you mull over those all-important interior design decisions.

Craigdon Mountain Sports, Biggar Road

This large coffee shop offers fantastic views over the Pentland hills with outdoor seating for sunnier days and a kids play area to give you that much needed rest. It is the perfect place to fuel up before or warm up after a session on the slopes at Hillend Snowsports Centre - only two minutes’ drive away!  Positioned within Craigdon Mountain Sports, you can combine your coffee with a browse of outdoor clothing and equipment to suit all your sporting needs. As always, offering a wide range of Cobbs home baking, hot meals and soups; this café is a stop you definitely shouldn’t miss!

Glasgow

Sterling Furniture, London Road

Cobbs at Sterling Furniture is run by a charming, helpful and very popular couple – Paul and Lorraine – who are also a fountain of local knowledge! The café always has something interesting on the menu, as well as the usual favourites of Cobbs home-baking, hearty soups, sandwiches, toasties and paninis. Cobbs provides the perfect place to get away from it all after a hectic day of shopping or a great place to stop while mulling over important interior design decisions! This café is also an excellent place for business meetings as it is peaceful, close to the motorway and easy to find with plenty of free parking.
