Carrot Cake - Round
Probably our biggest seller - A wholesome blend of grated carrot, chopped walnuts & sultanas in a deliciously moist sponge. The orange butter icing is made with freshly squeezed orange juice and topped with chopped walnuts, decorated with orange zest.

Fruit Loaf
This is a very succulent loaf as we simmer the fruit in the sugar & spices before baking to give a fuller flavour.

Gingerbread Loaf
An old favourite which is dark in colour with an exotic ginger flavour – delicious served with butter as an extra treat.

Chocolate Cake
We have created a velvety smooth & moist cake filled and topped with a very rich chocolate icing – but the secret of this cake’s moistness is that it is made with yogurt – so you can treat yourself without adding the calories.

Chocolate Cake – decorated
This is the same velvety concoction as the chocolate cake but we have added swirls of chocolate curls which makes this a more luxurious version.

Coffee Cake with Walnuts
A traditional favourite. This cake is made with real coffee – no coffee flavouring here! The butter icing is also made with real coffee & topped with half walnuts.

Lemon Drizzle Cake
A tangy cake made with the juice & zest of fresh lemons. We have filled the middle with lemon curd and made the icing with fresh lemon juice, topped with curls of lemon zest. A really fresh taste.

Cappuccino Cake
This cake is made in the same way as the coffee and walnut cake but we have created a swirled top and sprinkled the whole thing with powdered chocolate.

Victoria Sponge
A popular favourite. A deep cake filled with strawberry jam and a generous quantity of butter icing. The top is dusted with icing sugar.

Whisky Cake
If you enjoy a “wee dram” then this is the cake for you. This rich fruit cake is packed full of sultanas, raisins, cherries and much more than a dash of fine Scottish Malt Whisky. We serve this in our own Cobbs Restaurant as a dessert with whisky butter and lashings of double cream!
Ingredients: Dried fruit, flour, sugar, margarine, eggs, whisky, glace cherries, mixed spice, bicarbonate of soda.

All-butter Shortbread Finger
The name says it all! We use all butter to give a luxurious taste and bake it slowly in the oven to give a crisp texture.
Ingredients: Flour, butter, sugar, cornflour.

Coconut Slice
A very moist coconut sponge with a layer of strawberry jam on top of a crisp shortcrust base to give a great combination of taste and texture.

Empire Biscuit
A much loved favourite, with two shortbread biscuits sandwiched together with strawberry jam, topped with white glace icing and topped with half a cherry. These biscuits look great piled high on a plate.

Lemon Empire Biscuit
A tangy alternative to the traditional empire biscuit. We sandwich the shortbread biscuits with lemon curd and top them with lemon icing and crystallized lemon peel. A favourite with the bakery staff!

Tiffin
This is a chocolate lover’s delight. A blend of biscuit crumb, cocoa and syrup with a dark chocolate top layer.

Fruit and Nut Tiffin
We have added peanuts and plump raisins to the tiffin mix as well as to the chocolate topping to give a healthy slant to this popular slice.

Mars Bar Krispie
We blend melted Mars Bard with rice krispies to create a crunchy / chewy bar which is covered in milk chocolate and finished with swirls of white chocolate. Very sweet, but we love it!

Hawaiian Slice
We have combined biscuit crumb, butter, condensed milk, coconut and lemon rind for the base of this slice. Then we use the lemon juice to make a tangy topping and sprinkle with dessicated coconut.

Date Slice
An old favourite which has been revived because of its healthy ingredients. There is a moist layer of dates sandwiched between crunchy oat crumble.

Date and Walnut Cake
The dates and walnuts give a great contrast in textures to a rich sponge which we have filled with a crushed walnut butter icing. The top of the cake is glazed with honey and demerara sugar.

Apple and Cinnamon Cake
This cake is a feast for the eyes as well as a treat for the tastebuds! The apple slices are fanned on top of the cake as well as through the sponge. When you cut through ... there is a marbled line of cinnamon and brown sugar running through the cake – delicious!

Nutty Cereal Bar
If you skipped breakfast this is a great energy boost. Oats, rice krispies, coconut and dried fruit all combined in peanut butter and syrup to give a chewy bar. The whole thing is finished with a drizzle of white chocolate to give that extra bit of energy!
